As we continue expanding the OneView platform with features to improve customer engagement, rolling out our new Void Payment functionality empowers associates to better manage the checkout flow. With Void Payment, retailers now can undo tenders while customers are still in the active checkout process. The function releases the voided funds to the customer immediately, so there is no wait for the return to process. Void Payment enables associates to quickly serve cases where customers realize they don’t have enough total funds or use the wrong card, providing a seamless customer experience.
OneView’s new Payment integration with Aurus gives retailers the ability to take Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments, including both SNAP Food and SNAP Cash Purse at the curb, or anywhere your mobile device takes you. For millions of Americans, SNAP is essential to put food on the table for their families and with this added functionality OneView now empowers retailers to provide equal access.
OneView continues to expand its product offerings, and the latest platform release now supports Gift Cards through GiveX Gift Cards with the Adyen Payment Integration. According to research by First Data, 74% of people expected to spend more than their gift card was valued. With this integration OneView allows retailers to support gift card sales, redemption, and balance checks directly through the payment device. For retailers, offering the option of a gift card enhances the shopping experience for their customers and provides an additional revenue stream from new shoppers or those that increase basket size when using this tender type.
